Kiwi used a term yesterday that was new to me... Faegon. It means Fake Aegon. Newer posters are always asking and wondering, "Who is BFS?" I still remember the day I stumbled upon the equation and I asked myself, What is R+L=J? So here is a thread to compile the slang, acronyms, nicknames, common quotes, expressions and abbreviations from A Song of Ice and Fire. I'm not going to give detailed explanations, just the basic definitions. These are off the top of my head, so I've more familiar with my own slang... Please add your own!

YADL - Ygritte Anti-defamation League

^Do I constitute as that since I defended her once? XD Because I really really don't want to. XD

Y.A.D.L. Wiggum (one of my favorite posters) is the Big Cheese. And in the thread, Cul (another great poster) proposed DMAS (Dacey Mormont Appreciation Society) and I put forth WITCH (Westerosi Introduction To Cersei Hating)... not to slick, but you get the point.

Mmmmmmm, Dacey.

I know I'm the only one, but sometimes I call Baelish Middlefinger... because that's what he gives everyone.

I'm also thinking of using BFX for Mr. Selmy... because he roxxxxxx!!!!!!

Barristen Freaking X? I don't know Boaz...

POV sometimes also means a character who gets a POV, as in "There aren't supposed to be any new POVs" or "Tyrion and Sansa are POVs but Tywin and Varys are not"

HBW - House of Black and White - where Arya is being trained.

You aren't the only one ahahaha. I took to calling him that too. It is oddly fitting.
