(PS - I always thought the film studios financed their own films, or nice people with big money set it up - I had no idea the commissioning and funding process could be so convoluted).
 
Uh. THey have enough superHEroes to go around. Dredd is a bit too good. Leave it as a comic and it will go away and we can all go see the Avengers part 17b, three times.
