Whgile the competition for nominations for the 2015 Hugo Awards hots up, Aidan Moher has posted up his own list of nominees:

I always take the most interest in the novels, and Aidan lists the following:

City of Stairs by Robert Jackson Bennett
Ancillary Sword by Ann Leckie
The Eternal Sky Trilogy by Elizabeth Bear
The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison
Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

Interesting to also see our own Nerd's Feather is listed in the Best Fanzine category - best of luck to NF in getting an official nomination for that.

I know Kary English, so I'm definitely thrilled for her. She's a fellow WotF finalist (2X, though she won her quarter last year). There is a lot off hubaloo right now in the US with the nominations, though. All very confusing to me. Politics. Eesh.
