As per their facebook page, so I guess it's OK to talk about possible spoilers: Cole isn't the only one who gets to enjoy time travel. Ramse is now in on the splinter action.

Raise your hands if you think Ramse is the witness/the one who makes sure the plague happens. Unfortunately my last theory about Jennifer/Jones was wrong, so maybe I'm right now, but who knows with this show

Don't talk about anything that isn't in this episode or those that preceded it, but all of the above is. Speculation in fine in any case. Yes, Ramse is the witness.

They have to succeed now. If they don't, they have destroyed any kind of alternative future at all. One thing they could have done, but didn't, would be to send Cole back a day and stop Ramse. Cole was ill and in the recovery machine, so no chance of him meeting himself. I expect that the reason is that he only has "one more jump left" but that clearly isn't true since last week in 2017 Cassandra said she had met him many times in the previous two years and a lot had happened. Also, if they did stop Ramse they would still have the serum and he could spend longer in the wellness machine.

Your theory that Cole is the origin of the plague man relic still looks favourite. It could be Ramse though. Certainly, I think it is someone from the future setting up some kind of time loop.

Ramse could still be the witness and Cole the cause. The Witness does not necessarily have to be the cause/origin. The Witness may just be another essential ingredient.

We know he doesn't have one more jump yet because there is going to be a second season. Unless they do a True Detective/Doctor Who type deal and change up the main cast. Idk how that would work though.

Ramse could definitely be the witness and working counter to Cole which gives the series far more breathing room now, imho. I'm actually pretty stoked that Ramse was sent back.

And yeah, if Cassandra had seen Cole numerous times between 2015 and 2017, then there's obviously a way around the health crisis.

Tempting as it is to only talk about the final act, I also enjoyed the earlier scenes where we finally meet the Sisters and and older Jennifer.

Thought it was somewhat rare for a person to be a viable time travel candidate? Hence the multiple failed attempts before Cole came along? So Ramse's success is a little implausible? These issues will always arise is a show like this one I guess..

Question is, will Cole arrive at the same time/place as Ramse and even if he's a little off on either, how would he ever find him in the bustle of Tokyo?

I suspect that will be quickly glossed over, but it should be as hard for them to meet as you suggest, especially since we have already been told how the time/place is affected by body weight, power supply, amount of serum in blood, and it would be near impossible to adequately account for these factors.
