Nobel Prize winner and magical realist writer Guenter Grass - author of one of my favourite novels The Tin Drum - has died at age 87.

Oh yes, the newspapers were full of it. I had Günter Grass as a special topic at my A-level exam in the subject German. May not be his most famous book, but "Die Rättin" (don´t know if it came out in English, but the title refers to a female rat - a non-existing word, as a rat is usually considered to be female in German language, like a cat - you will refer to this animal as "she") is dystopic literature.
