I'm under the impression that the Chinese space programme led to a resurgence of Chinese science fiction.

I'd like to know if there are any particularly good examples - long or short form - that have been translated into English?

Just that it would be very interesting to get a Chinese view of space exploration.

Right off I'd go for The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin, translated by Ken Liu (no relation). This is the first book in a trilogy. It was probably the best thing I read last year.

Liu Cixin is compared to Arthur C. Clarke and I can see why. He's won multiple awards in China and deserves recognition in the world SF community.

I can't recommend anything else, because this was my first exposure to Chinese sf.
