Yikes! Jiaying seemed like such a peaceful person, too peaceful to make a deadly preemptive strike against SHIELD – and after Gonzales had just made such a nice gesture by presenting her with a treasured trinket. So long, Adm. Adama, or, as Nick saw him, Captain Ahab.

I suspected that the gift was embedded with a monitoring device or something more sinister.

I understand Jiaying's perspective. This list SHIELD has is much the same as marking and numbering created in human history for those who are seen as being different. All that is missing is a tattoo or brand burned into their skin. I need to watch the finally tonight.
