The one thing I really disliked about this series was the fact that the Flash just could not learn to use his velocity to knock out, and secure the bad guys, especially meta-humans. Earlier in the season, he confronts a villain, known to have a very destructive weapon, & zips right up to him, & lectures him on good Vs. Evil, he must surrender, etc. So the guy just points the gun at some bystander, and shoots (ice?) at him. Well, the Flash must try to outrun the discharge from the gun, & save the guy, but fails, & another man dies. Similar recurrences of this foolish behavior are in nearly every episode, up to the most recent one. In one after another episode, nobody bothers to tell him that knocking out the bad guy should come before lecturing him. O.k., so Barry is just a kid, or his physical appearance suggests he is, but failing to learn this lesson costs others their lives! He seems to have an idealistic worldview; the good guy always wins. Grow-up, Barry!
So, last week, he finally K.O.ed the bad guy, at least, I recall him doing so. I do not recall much from last week's episode, but that was indeed memorable, though I doubt it will be consistent.
