Spoilers for 2.11, natch. (Do I need to keep saying that? I'm an extreme spoiler-phobe, myself, and try my best to not spoil anyone else.)

I liked the front story even if it wasn't handled perfectly and, yeah, finally something that feels like movement on the Juliette issue. The one problem with it is that, pretty soon, everyone's either going to be knowing everything and everyone or people are going to have to be keeping whole new sets of secrets. But I wish the writers would pay more attention to the foreground and, in this episode, they did. Hate to be that guy - "No, really, they were demon cannibals... what, you don't believe me?"

Oh, but disgusting rotting corpses or not, did anyone else have a problem with Nick's, uh, reaction?

I think I'm with J-Sun on this one. I find Grimm full of potential, but it rarely seems to hit that potential.

I thought season two started brilliantly, but after the cliffhanger of the previous season was resolved it dropped back to the standard creature of the weak.

There has been a little character progression which is good - bringing Hank in on the Grimm thing was a step in the right direction, and the love triangle that seems to be growing is good, but it's the subplots that keep me coming back not the main ones.

A couple of characters have been described as boring, and I have to agree, as the main couple are the most obvious. Get rid of the fiancée, and allow Nick to grow a bit and I'd be happy.

Or drop Nick all together and call it the Monroe show.

(Just as a point of interest does anyone else see it as an inverted Buffy? A chosen one Slayer/Grimm, Nick/Buffy; someone who provides information Monroe/Giles; monsters that no-one else believes exists... and it was co-created by David Greenwalt who was a co-exec on Buffy and then helped create Angel...)

Made me think of the swimming pool scene in Poltergeist. Or falling into the room of mummies in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

One episode to go this season. I'm mildly hopeful they'll get the Juliette situation sorted, but am also pretty sure they'll leave us with a cliff-hanger. This has been a TV series staple ever since we all wondered who shot J.R. :D
