Conventions, book fairs and events...

My intention is to either go to or have a presence at every one of these events in US and the UK so can we use this thread to put details of conventions etc including dates, locations and websites.

I am already going to Edge-Lit and Bristolcon.

I am sure there are people more in the know of these things and this info would be very useful.

Jennifer and I will be at WorldCon in Spokane this year. http://sasquan.org We've made an arrangement to sell some books at a table in the dealer's room, but the man who owns the table is limiting us in the number of different titles we can bring. We will also probably be distributing a stack of flyers.

Bookmarks consistently come out as the most popular' apparently.

Can't do much re stock at Titancon - not that sort of con - but happy to litter bookmarks etc everywhere, and do what .i can on panels.

Usually there is a table where anyone can drop a stack of flyers. People browse through the flyers and pick up those that interest them. So I think they are useful. (Plus, at the end of the convention you pick up those that remain and can use them at another event.)

I've never used bookmarks, but I hear they can be effective. I'd like to take both.

As for the photos, Ray, I avoid having my picture taken. I am also pretty wretched when it comes to taking pictures. I am apparently incapable of holding a camera still, with the result that I don't even own one. (Although I could take pictures with my Kindle Fire. I will consider it.) But I am sure that Jennifer can be talked into taking a few.
