The US based film distributor Echo Bridge Entertainment has announced an agreement with the Louisiana based producer Active Entertainment which will see ten science fiction films produced.
Active Entertainment are well known for producing disaster style movies for the newly revamped SyFy channel, now they will be delivering two science fiction film a year for the next five years.
The first film will be called FireFight and they have gone to town on this one by bringing in some well known sci-fi faces in to star in this film such as: Leonor Varela (Blade II), Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager, Stargate: Atlantis), Jason London (Dazed and Confused) and Steve Reevis (The Longest Yard, Fargo).
This will be followed by Swampshark and then the next films to be made will include: Stormbringer, World on Fire and Sun Strike.
