Monthly Agent Twitterfest

Having a quick look at their website made me think that they really don't have any agents interested in SF ("futuristic fiction and the re-imagining of our world as landscapes for great story-telling" was about the closest I could find from the agent who stated her main interest was historical fiction). Although they say 'of any genre' you have to be liked by one of the agents to get a chance at submission...

But they do seem to have an agent focused on children's fantasy and YA, see Sephanie Thwaites at the bottom of this page - http://www.curtisbrowncreative.co.uk/submissions/agents/, so I'm sure there are people here on Chrons that have a fighting chance.

However I think my Space Opera pitch would fall on stony barren ground, unfortunately. :(

(I suppose there is no harm in giving it a go though, even if the chances of failure are pretty close to 100% :))

Conville and Walsh are along for the ride, they might be better suited. Susan Armstrong would be a good match.

woops missed that, cheers BM - can't get into the C&W website anyway on the heap-of-crap PC I'm using in this office...I will investigate when I get home.

Remember you can approach both these agencies in the normal manner, and they'll read your entire submission (at least they did mine, or said they did) rather than just 140 characters.

But I believe this way, they favourite your tweet if they like the sound of it, and then you're more assured the agent will read the submission, rather than the intern...
