Full disclosure: I do not play video games and know nothing about them. However, I happened to run across some videos showing scenes from the detective adventure game L.A. Noire, and I love the way they have recreated Los Angeles in the 1940's.

Has anybody played this? Any thoughts?

Hi Victoria,

I have played it through twice. I absolutely adored it and have the soundtracks. It's such an authentic world.

I'd not read The Big Sleep until after I'd played L.A. Noire. As you can probably guess, it was fantastic to read that story after playing the game - it was like a fan fic project (if that's not sacrilege to say about Chandler) made just for me!

I played this game. The story is pretty good. I also like how you have to figure out if people are lying during interrogations. Oh, and the setting is gorgeous.
