Very sad to hear of the passing of the very best Batgirl.
She lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 78.

I was so sad to hear this. I love the old Batman series but she was by far the best bit of it for me. That high kick of hers and how she held her own alongside Batman and Robin, her own hero in her own right.

But more importantly she was the one who got me into comics and started my obsession with superheroes, which is such a big part of my life now. Wanting to know more about Barbara Gordon led me way down into a deep rabbit hole of comics which I don't regret in the slightest.
