Rough draft is done, now what?

Tell me about that !!!! Getting back to something after a week is a pain in the ar....... :)
 
Work on the language and keep re-reading. Change the syntax around and try to make your work more elaborate, maybe start replacing frequently-used words with interesting synonyms, etc.

That's what I try to do with my stuff.
