And discuss!

Since we tied last month, I was keen to collaborate with holland for this month's challenge. Which really means that I was being lazy and asked holland to think of a theme! But I think he's come up with a corker, and definitely one I wouldn't have hit upon!

So have at it!

Well much to my surprise I've got a story, 75 words but...

It won't work when pasted to the Chrons.

Will have to think about it some more.

In, but not with the tale I first wanted to tell.

That I discarded as I realised it solved an obvious comic mystery that would have spoilt the Dark Lord's universe (even if only in my mind).

It's since been deleted.

Okay, this is my problem :D

In order to work my story needs to be in a particular font (well two actually).

They are both rather uhhh obscure fonts and I can't see them working on Chrons. (If anyone knows how to do this let me know).

I could convert the word document into a PDF and post that as an attachment or picture, but a/ not sure if that would go down well with the mods and b/ in order for it to work for all the readers they would at least need the possibility of copying and pasting it, which they would not be able to do with a pic.

So my options are to struggle on, or scrap it and wait for another idea to surface.

Grump, grump, grump.

Ooh, language is something I've fairly recently is covered I love playing around with, so this is right up my street. Great choice. I have ideas playing around already. I just hope that they come across to all you nice people as well as they do to me :)

nice theme! this will need a bit of thought

Tim you can't approximate the font with one available on chrons? i'm sure in the past i have seen font used in a story that wasn't one of the selectable ones.

I've done it myself, and I hoped this would work just as well. Unfortunately it does not seem to. I'll try again though. :D

Glen (verb) -- To explore profound matters of human nature with a perfect balance of scientific accuracy and artistic skill. ("The late Carl Sagan was able to Glen about humanity's place in the universe in his outstanding writings.")

Luiglin (noun) -- A clever and amusing creation, designed to delight the beholder with its wit and charm. ("This sculpture of a lustful satyr dancing with a teasing nymph is a fine example of a Luiglin from ancient Greece.")

Are you saying I'm old Victoria?

Only kidding, cheers for the review as always.

I may even let loose His Awfulness once more to get the wrong end of the reviewing stick.

Ha ha you know I was going to say that as I remembered the story I saw it in being yours. Then I thought it can't have been you if you can't do it.

The reason I remember is it annoyed me. I had been trying to be creative with fonts, failed and then you waltzed in and did it. Well, perp waltzed in actually.

So in conclusion, perp can do it. Get him in...

That Perp, he's a really slippery character...
