This is a modern werewolf story set in the North East fictional town of High Moor in England. It centres around a young boy who survived a werewolf encounter and returns in his later years to confront the monster.
I started the first book in the series of three a few nights ago and have to say it's quite a gripping read so far. It definitely has that unputdownable factor, keeping me turning the pages wanting to find out what happens next. It's quite gritty and brutal in parts so not for the squeamish.
I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this first novel and then the following two in the series.
