In an increasing bid for the world of fandom and the general public to think even less of a small cabal of straight, white, angry fans... there's now a boycott of Star Wars Episode VII... because there's a black man, a Hispanic man, and too many women in the film. Ugh.

Stahp people. Just stahp.

This is why people don't like you.

I agree with Boneman,

Easier to get a seat without all the idiots in the Cinema.

I just don't understand the thought process to arrive at that decision - for me personally that never even enters my mind. I don't care if the actors are all white all black or Asian or a generous mix - what I care about is that the film is good!

I suppose it depends on what numbers would term a movement? I expect there are quite a few morons willing to sign up to this mode of thinking - although I must admit I have never heard of people boycotting a film because of diversity in its actors.
