Classic, old-time Doctor Who adventure -- aliens, UNIT, a Lethbridge-Stewart. It was practically a reunion.

Millions of Zygon duplicates among us, huh? Yesterday, I was eyeing my neighbors with distaste. Today, I'm eyeing my them with suspicion.

Not many comments on this one?

I quite enjoyed it and it seems to have been attracting a bit of attention outside of the normal circles. Political commentary in Doctor Who, whatever next.

I think it maintains the run of strong episodes this season, which looks as though it might be the best since Matt Smith's first season.

I actually understand the rebellious Zygons, forced to exist in society now even allowed to look like themselves, no wonder they're frustrated. Of course the way they go about things is oh so wrong!

I hadn't had time to watch it before today. I've just been so distracted with everything.

I loved it. What was there not to love about it really? I hope that the continuation is just as good if not better. A true confirmation that the season is a comeback for the show.

I'm liking this story so far, I think the Zygons are being better used than they were even in the classic series.

New generation radicalised, the majority want to live in piece, don't bomb them you will radicalise them all. This episode was as subtle as a brick through a window.

Are UNIT the most useless military force in the history of fiction?

Damn I mean live in peace.

Been watching Old Who on Horror (Freeview channel 70, 8pm), and UNIT did seem a bit better in the olden days.

The Brigadier was a top chap.

Five rounds rapid! etc. etc. The Doctor did describe them as being a little more homespun when he worked with them full time.

I liked the way the uniform for UNIT looked more European in the early days, as you would expect for a force run from Geneva back before the United Nations refused permission for the BBC to use their name. They quickly reverted to British army uniform, and now look like a SWAT team.

OMG! Now I understand why you brits like Peter Capaldi in other stuff that I've never seen!!!! Amazing monologue by him! Not many actors would be able to pull that off, especially while acting crazy at the same time. Well done, indeed. Does anybody have a timestamp of how long he was talking for? Must have been at least 7 mins non-stop! I've seen a video clip of 4.5 mins of it, but one small interruption by someone asking a question, doesn't count I think.

Yes. He rants with the best of them.

For my part I was so glad to see the return of Osgood after she was killed off by Missy's metal monstrosities. A great use of the Zygon/Human crossover.

@Anushka Mokosh here's the current thread ;)

I agree with the not being very subtle, could have been better but not as bad as last series, I didn't really like this ep.

Generally continued in the thread? I don't know I don't pay a huge amount of attention :p But I thought the second part was being continued here...I may be wrong though ;)

We separated all two-parters of this season IIRC.
