Andrew Angel is a voracious reader of all sorts of genres. His first love is fantasy of course. When he heard that the press who had published Dave’s Betrayal’s Shadow had decided to close. He quickly made the introduction to Gary Compton at Tickety Boo Press who read the book in one sitting and could not sign Dave quick enough.

A magnificent cover that atmospherically describes the feel of the story was rushed through and you can see it here. The book will be released on the 1st December and it already has some great reviews from icons in the genre.

John Gwynne – “Reminiscent of the Malazan world in terms of its depth and complexity.”– author of Malice, Valour and Ruin.

Zachary Jernigan – “Dave-Brendon de Burgh destroys the notion that epic fantasy’s moment of innovation began and ended with George R.R. Martin. Betrayal’s Shadow is smart, powerfully original fiction that echoes our best writers while forging ahead with its own voice. Here’s hoping it attracts the massive audience it deserves.” – author of No Return and Shower of Stones.

So as a thank you for bringing us Dave De Burgh’s Betrayal’s Shadow and Paul Kane’s Nailbiters, we have created Andrew Angel a new website and all costs will be taken care of by us.

So without any further ado, check out Dave De Burgh’s Betrayal’s Shadow cover.

Gary, will someone stop you??? I have enough to read and now I have to add this to my list! I will of course wait to purchase until it is under your banner ;)

Honestly Ratsy. I read it in one sitting. Have you seen the review from John Gwynne. he does not give them away easily :)

It is brilliant! I was lucky to get it and the 2 others.

It sounds just up my alley. Can't wait. Good on you...their loss is your gain

Instead of lurking I'll come right out and say that if you guys and girls want to discuss anything regarding the book, once it out (questions and such), I'll make myself available. :) I couldn't be happier, signing with Gary and Tickety Boo, and I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions. :) Thanks again, Gary! And damn, what a cover! :-D
