I finally caught up with the show. I couldn't find a thread for this episode so if there is, someone please merge. XD

Wasn't it so very heartbreaking to see May with that sad face? While we were already privy to the identity of Lash from last week, the confrontation was still rather powerful especially as May ICED him in the end.

Doesn't it look like the fun is about to start and the proverbial poop is about the hit the proverbial fan with Rosalind's involvement with Malick? And début of our favourite psycho Ward into the next big kerfuffle seems promising too.

Also, an interesting role reversal: May has always seen herself as the 'monster', because of Bahrain, and Andrew is her 'angel'. She's the strong one, he's the gentle soul. So suddenly everything gets flipped around: he's the monster and she's the angel of mercy, who first tries to talk him down and then attempts to execute/restrain him (and those were bullets, not an Icer - Coulson comments: "How did you know that wouldn't kill him?" To which May replies: "I didn't."). He's the cold, angry one, and she becomes the sensitive one who suffers for him...

Hmm, that Coulson and Rosalind business . . . He's got to be playing her, surely?

Loved this episode! It was all about the human story and personal conflict.

Although I didn't like the twist of Garner being Lash, I loved how it was handled as a tragedy, rather than just another monster to beat up. There are also seeds of doubt sown about Lincoln.

The twist with Rosalind at the end - that was not expected. :)

However - who is the actor playing the big Hydra guy she spoke to, that Ward is now working with? I keep feeling that I'm supposed to know him - the character has such gravitas - but I don't recognise the actor.

A little YouMayNotHaveNoticed, Malik was the councilman in Avengers who was responsible for the nuclear bomb aimed at New York during The Avengers, the one that Tony used.
