Terry Goodkind's Warheart

I have not heard anything about what he might write, or indeed if he intends to write anything. I rather liked Law of Nines actually. I thought the sort of 'in jokes' were good, the things one wouldn't spot if one hadn't read the SOT, like Alex checking the gun was free in the holster or Jax being interested in the figure in the white dress, or her remark that in her world queen's bowed down to her. I felt it was better than the ratings it got. I do wonder if SOT is really finished, after all it 'ended' once before with Cara's wedding, so who knows. There's plenty he could still do with it after all. Richard and Kahlan could have a male child, or he could follow Nicci and Nathan's adventures as they tour D'Hara. The Sisters of the Light in the Wizard's Keep could find a gifted person who causes problems, or who helps to prevent them. He could even go back in time again, the later adventures of Alric Rahl for example, or Magda and Merritt's part in the war with the Old World. The creation of the first Mord-Sith would make a great storyline, why they were created the way they were and by who. . You never know, maybe there is more to come.
 
Oh good! It's come out. I completely missed it. Damn Netflix. Yes, there were three more books between where Jagang was killed and Warheart. Honestly, I think he or his agent has gotten greedy in these last few books. The story is still good, but each book is shorter. He makes it look as big as the others by using larger text (if you're buying a physical book). Based on what I've seen, the last three books before Warheart could probably make one comparatively sized book.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand, I've really enjoyed his books :), but that's twice now the series has finished, and to just keep revisiting it (and the main characters) after it's all been wrapped up feels a bit like breaking trust with his readers.:( Personally, I'd like to see him do something completely new. Ah, who am I kidding, I'll read it anyway:D
