I think we have done pretty well in taking the idea of a press born from the friends and colleagues here. Considering we lost the original investor in the first month due to his business problems; we struggled on re-investing every penny of profit into authors and editors. I even taught myself to do covers and formatting to save money.

I would say the result is astounding!

So 2016 beckons and we are striving to build on the success with a Kickstarter campaign. rather than me explain here it is better if you visit the page. basically 50% goes on stock to go to bookstores and 50% on marketing.

Give what you can, there are some great rewards and if you can't please spread the word.

Many thanks.

Brian how it works is the first 2K is the target and the rest (26K) are stretch goals.

The reason I did it this way was if we only got 5 books pledged with the 2k per each one we would still get the money, whereas if I set the 28K as the target and say £27,799 was pledged, we wouldn't get a penny.

Hope that makes sense.

Yes Hex - fire away.

Good luck gary and tbp crew. If I can find any spare cash it'll be on its way to your campaign.

I watched the video and found it gave a very clear explanation of how the kickstarter funding would be used so good job and I hope it's a success(y)

There's some excellent writer and reader based Christmas presents in the rewards for this, so it's a double win for anyone who knows a reader who likes SFF. A present and an eternal thank you. (Read that as 'Wise, value for money investment.')

I'm a little cashless at the minute, but come Jan you'll be getting a pledge :) good thinking on the goals ;) very well thought out!

Promotion idea: bit sleepy, so you should check this, but if you give £30 then I think that actually means you're effectively getting a discount on the e-books that'll come your way.

Sorting out finances for the end of the year, but I will make a pledge on or about Jan. 1. I think that this is a great idea Gary.

Thank you Parson. You have always been very supportive so anything is gratefully received.

Even a few prayers would be nice.

The authors deserve more success so hopefully it will take off in the New Year. I always knew Dec would be quiet!

I guess my pledge was "about" Jan. 1. I'd like to challenge other chrons to join in.

It would be lovely if they did but it isn't looking good. But that's life - onwards.

Thanks for your pledge, Parson. You are a wonderful man.

I just did my small part. It would be great for us all to help Gary reach his goal. He has done so much for authors here and Jo is one of the best people I know. They have both helped me personally in my writing and future plans. Tickety Boo Press is a fixture here on SFFChrons and so are almost all of their authors. I also challenge everyone to give something, even if it's the lowest amount. Every bit helps!

I'm planning on pledging next week, and will share on my FB when I do, I have quite a few booky friends who may be interested :D Good luck, I'll pledge as much as I can :)

My apologies Gary, I forgot about this until now. I have added the small help I can, being totaly broke almost all the time means it isn't much, but you help plenty of others, so we should help you too.
Good luck.
Come on fellow chronners, even if it is just a little. And the incentives are good, the second tier (all I could manage) means you get a tbp e-book anyway, so there is no lose here. Help Gary, as he has helped others.
