Working on my lastest thing I came across a section that really amuses me, even though it shouldn't:
Meiriana considered all of this. Perhaps then the truth of it died with the humans. After all, the humans grabbed her then a she woke to a wolf stepping on her that was all she remembered. Probably better that way. Only the dead knew what knowledge her brain withheld from her, and the dead keep their secrets better than the living, better even than the bears. (Note, in the lore bears are sacred to the god of secrets because they were the only animals that did not sell or trade away the secrets he gave the.)
Has anyone else had something like that occur to them, that a section amused them that shouldn't have been amusing? I'd love to hear about them.
