Foreign film. Belgian or French I think. Definitely subtitled.

Little child exploring. There were lots of tiny planets they were exploring. There was a castle with a knight. Might have been on a quest. There was a broccoli planet. And a caterpillar that shot broccoli.

I want to watch it again, it was great. Well what I can remember of it was. However everyone looks at me crazy when I mention it. And when I get to broccoli planet... Well you can guess.

It is a real film, but putting broccoli planet into Google is surprisingly unhelpful... Please help me work out what it is.

Definitely a film. Very modern type of animation would probably be considered stylised and cutesy. Lots of round things, not huge budget CG but not terrible either. The OP is pretty much all I can remember. Computerised CG type thing as opposed to drawn. Very very very bright and colourful. Most likely a kids film but all I can remember is a vague castle at the beginning, quest starting and then the tiny planet with loads of broccoli trees. Planers were really small so could walk round them, jump from planet to planet etc. All very odd.

It was on sky go in the foreign films section a few years ago...

So very very weird and wonderful and it was subbed.

ETA the biggest problem I had was search terms bringing up other things. There is an ITV series called tiny planets and unfortunately a couple of popular French films that seem to just jump right up the search.

I don't remember a brocolli planet, but this all sounds like Le Petit Prince by Antoine St Exupéry, an early French aviator , which was a book written in the 1940s.
Lots of tiny planets. All rather allegorical and very bright pastel colours (yellow and blue) generally.
I haven't seen any films for a long time, although it has been made into several over the years, including one a couple of years ago.

Nope, not that either :(

All very bright in your face colours, to be honest it all felt very trippy...

So frustrating! My usually impeccable meory has failed me :(
