Before we started off on our hike, I instructed my students about the importance of proper footwear needed for hiking the Rocky Mountains.
While on our hike, we observed and encountered many of its native wildlife as seen here.
And now we see the results of my flip-flop covered feet after I attempted to fend off a porcupine by kicking at it.
