Sorry to hear it, Martin. I always hated the waiting most of all, so at least they didn't keep you in suspense for 3 months. Don't give up, though, you'll get there

Just hit the 40k mark on my new effort. If I'm honest the first try was to prove to my self that I could write a novel length story and to learn how to do it better. I honestly think what I'm doing now is head and shoulders better than my first effort so rejections aren't bothering me that much.
