As you probably all know,Robin Hobb has written books under the name,Megan Lindholm.
I thought I had read them all,but found, to my delight that I hadn't read The Windsingers series.
There are four books,of which I have now read two.
Much as I really admire and enjoy Robin's(Megan's) writing,I am not finding this series as captivating as all her other work.
I really enjoyed,The Reindeer People and Wolf's Brother.
I wonder what other members feel about The Windsinger books.
I don't really know why I'm not enjoying them as I thought I would.
(If this is in the wrong place,I apologise.)

I enjoyed The Reindeer People, and especially Wolf's Brother. I thought Harpy's Flight was okay, but it didn't quite capture me. I can't remember why it didn't. If I remember rightly, some of the writing seemed a bit careless in places?

I haven't read any Robin Hobb (I own 3 unread), other than a short story, which I really enjoyed. I can't remember what it was called, but it was set in a forest I think.

I wonder if it was The Piebald Prince you are think of ,AlexH.
It doesn't seem familiar. I've looked through 3 of my books I thought it might be in, and the only Robin Hobb story I found was Homecoming, but that doesn't seem familiar either.
