Joseph Roth's The Radetzky March, and his other books

Here's an author I've been hearing about for years but still haven't read. I thought maybe some Chrons people have read him and might want to say something about their reading.

It seems there are two translations of what I gather is his best-known book, The Radetzky March, namely Neugroschel and Hofmann. I've ordered a copy of the Hofmann rendering.
