Any fans of Joe M. Linsner on this forum or anyone who reads his comics?

I find his art and words to be truly inspiring. His comics are just amazing with the amount of detail he puts in. Was wondering if there was any other fans.

I've managaed to get hold of some of the Dawn series but not a lot but I knida like the outfits and yes the artwork rocks!!:D

I can see you're a big fan from your Avatar, just wondering do you get involved in the Dawn Look-a-like contests at all I've seen featured on the net?

BTW I've posted a hello on your intro thread.

All the best over and out..:D

I would love to go to Dragon con to be a part of that. If you find yourself wanting to get a hold of more of Joe's work vist www.linsner.com. His art and characters go well beyond the sexy goddess.

The av I have here I have had for a good number of years. I say since I was 15. :) Back than I didn't know who Dawn was. I searched endlessly to figure it out and finally just in this last year discovered who she was.

What comics have you read of his or can you not remember?

Hi again, just got back from surprise surprise a BDay celebration...

Being a full-blooded aussie male I'm sure you can see how certain aspects of Joe's work would especially appeal to me...;)

UM.. maybe if you get to one of the CONs you could do a Dawn impersonation and post a pic here..

Seriously I did know that his stuff went beyond the sexy goddess thing. From memory I think I've read the collected Dawn miniseries Lucifer's Halo and Return Of The Goddess but yet to track down Three Tiers...

Thanks for the link, have you basically read all of the Dawn series plus some of his other work??

BTW I like how you said in your intro that you were not overly influenced by other writers but more by people, nature etc.. Says to me you're an independent thinker and free spirit which is always a refereshing thing to see.

Look forward to you maybe posting something over in the Writers section of the forum.

All the best for now..:D

I used to read his Dawn comics, and I met him once at Wizard World or the Motor City Comicon. His artwork is beautiful. I've pretty much abandoned comic books though, since the only ones I've liked were independents and they come out so sporadically that I would lose track of them. I will pick up David Mack's Kabuki: Alchemy series when I get the chance.
