I have heard a lot of dark mutterings on writer's sites about Agencies who require postal submissions and the amount of work it takes to pull them together. I suppose it was only a matter of time before *this* came along! >.<

Agencies who require postal submissions

It's perfectly reasonable from point of view of agencies / publishers. Printing everything would cost them a fortune. I've never found it a hardship ... though I'd rather not print an entire MSS, but they never want that unless interested?

Email isn't as reliable anyway.
Everyone can post. Not everyone has Internet!
