Wow! I'm roughly half way through this and it's fabulous! It reminds me of Lord of the Flies combined with King's Thinner and The Stand.

It's the first winner of the James Herbert award for horror:

If you like old school bloodthirsty horror then I'd definitely recommend it.

Definitely. It was an entertaining read, not for the squeamish. Out of ten - 7.5, which for me would be a high score
