Hi everyone,

I'm a first time author, and my YA fantasy thriller has just been published as an eBook through Amazon. It's doing OK (10 copies sold in three days), but I'm keen to keep the momentum going. So far I have only publicized the book on Facebook and Twitter, and I have also asked a local writer's hub if they would be interested in running a feature on me. Is there anything else I can do that will not cost me a small fortune?

Thanks,

Paul Beech.

Actually - you might need to spend some money, but research it well. Business cards are worth thinking about for any comic cons etc near you as are promo sites if you go on reduced-price periods (Book Barbarian do well for me and have been worth the small fee each time.)

As Ray says, look around. There is a good thread on some of the things tried started by @FibonacciEddie - I'm on mobile at the no bit will find it later if no one else has.

Cheap too. But Pen Name only, or Pen name and Real name?

I keep meaning to do them, some postcards and bookmarks. For 100s, the local printing companies are cheapest, but for one or two A4 sheets, I'd use my colour laser as it handles card and I have a nice guillotine (rotary cutter really).

I was at a "Knavecon" boardgaming con all day Saturday and someone had put their kickstarter board game project leaflet on every table. I don't usually socialise.
