I absolutely love having 12 Monkeys back even if not that great many people comment on it. Thing is, 12 Monkey fill in perfectly in the hole Continuum left behind, when it finished its production earlier this year. Not only that it expands the knowledge on the time-travel and time-continuum.

Last year we explored possibilities of a parallel world, now we expand on the time anomalies. Stuff that Dr Who calls timey-wimey. But it's not. There's good theories behind all these actions. And I hypothese since they changed time-line, it is actually fluctuating around certain events that might, or might not be fixed to the actual continuum.

Katarina's new husband is a very good example of this. Not only producers managed to bring in Mister Hogan in, they made a great deal of sense on what happened. Times changed even if Katarina doesn't accept things happened.

She should not be laughing at face of Chronos. Who know what will happen next?
But I wouldn't be so sure in her statement: "If Cole fails, we all fail."

What could possibly go wrong in 1944?

A new start for the 12 Monkeys apparently. Things that shouldn't have happened, but happened anyway, because there is nothing people can do to stop time from changing. Cole was original traveller, but he isn't any longer. There are so many of them that events that should be stable, isn't as the traveller set all sort of fluctuations in the time-stream, and those appear as new realities, new events.

One in here for example,

What is Red Forest other than a converging point in the time-line? What Event happens there, and why is whole forest red instead of green?

The red forest is a puzzle, but I'm more puzzled about temporal anomaly that happened when Tom was killed. Why was there one? If there are two Primaries - Jennifer and Tom - then are there any more? Are the Messengers killing them all off? Why haven't they killed Jennifer yet (as she should have been relatively easy)? Why is it important anyway; if they just mean to release the virus, what have Primaries and Time Travel got to do with it (apart from preventing it)?
