OT HI everyone

Life circumstances coupled wirh my frustation with GRRM"so progress resulted in me taking an extended break from the books. For me at least, the TV show, which I have continued to watch, has rekindled my interest in the book series and I am now planning to do my 4th re-read. I hope to be participating again on a regular basis.

I have a brand new crackpot theory which I will post soon in the appropriate thread.

So many of the old regulars seem to be Inactive. I can't believe it's been almost 5 years since the publication of Dance. I never would have believed there would be this long.

There isn't much material to discuss so the section's been mostly dead except for a new user generating activity or an old regular returning.

My old estimate of Spring 2017 seems likelier by the day. XD

It's understandable to see the lack of activity, but at the same time, sad.

I think/hope that you estimate is wrong. I'm basing this on the fact that GRRM waited until the last minute to say he was missing his deadline. Take that with a grain of salt though, because I always see the glass as half with room for more fine wine Then again, I never would have believed we would ever be approaching the 5 year mark since the publication of Dance.

well yeah, but how much time has passed since he missed his deadline, no real news since then.

I hope I am wrong too. XD It was but a joke at the time, a randomly chosen time, but it is nearing that slowly. The new sample chapter doesn't exactly reassure me on that account.

Hi Imp!! So glad to see you, and glad I decided to check in! I suppose I am (for the most part) one of the missing! On one hand I never thought GRRM would make his deadline, but on the other I am utterly heartbroken that he did, this wait is becoming too much, especially with the show passing the books, but I am dying to discuss the show, so I will look now for the right places to do so. Again great to see you back!
