Just wanted to share that my story 'A Walk in the Park', is in the upcoming issue of Nine Tales Told in the Dark. Release is June 22nd. Pre-order
It's about a guy meeting his new girlfriend for a ghost hunt in Central Park. He quickly realizes he is in a little over his head.
The story's inspiration came from a spot in Central Park that I love, and am creeped out by at the same time. It is a wide, old bridge that you can walk under for a hundred feet or so. I made it seem a little bigger in the story, but in the dark, I'm sure it would feel that way. We often start a story from a small inspiration, and that is where this one came from.
The story was accepted into an anthology a while back, but that small press has all but disappeared from the world, so I pulled it and subbed elsewhere.
