This is a comprehensive list of American literary agencies where one or more agents specifically solicits science fiction and/or fantasy manuscripts for representation.

There were a handful of others I didn't list because they stated they were closed to submissions.

None of these agencies charge a reading fee.

NOTE: SF&F is a wide genre - some agents may only represent Urban Fantasy, and very few specifically ask for Epic Fantasy. Remember to research any subgenres the agents listed actually represent.

Many agents from the agencies listed can be found on Twitter, and following them can provide you with an idea of their interests.

Dear Brian,

Thanks for the valuable post, which is not your first. I hope to be taking advantage of this list before the end of the year.

I will add that there are other agents (including mine) who don't specifically mention SF, but do rep it, and do have SF authors in their stable. Sites like QueryTracker are invaluable.

Borrowed from AW where user Bickernicks posted a link to the Top 100 SF/F Agents tracked from deals announced on Publishers Marketplace (which doesn't cover every agent) Top 100 Sci-Fi Lit Agents
