House Stark and the Others related?

I read this theory some time ago about the Starks being related to the others. At the time i did not give it much though, but with the latest episode airing on HBO i think it very possible all of a sudden. It would tie in with the ancestral sword of house Stark Ice(before being replaced with the valyrian greatsword Ice after something happened to the original). Plus their house name itself and stuff.

In The World of Ice and Fire it states that there were many swords over the centuries wielded by the Kings of the North all called Ice. GRRM has gone on record stating that the swords of the Others are made out of ice. For this reason and others I believe you are right. Furthermore, I believe that the Stark words "Winter Is Coming" is not a warning, but a threat...
