I have not been a good Chrons member for a long time. What can I say, but that life got really, really busy. Anyway, I came across this recently, and thought you folks here would really like to know about it.

This is a forthcoming anthology of short stories from epic fantasy, dark fantasy and grimdark fantasy authors, including some great favourites of mine like R. Scott Bakker and Janny Wurts. It's a neat concept by an Australian publisher, who are looking for crowd-based funding to publish on Kickstarter:

Looks like a great lineup of talent, and they have already reached their funding goals, and some of their stretch goals. As part of supporting it, you get an e-book, paperback or hardcover depending on your support level, and you get other goodies dependent on both your support level and the funding and backer levels reached. Never seen a book done this way before, but it seems like a neat idea.

They're killing it on Kickstarter. Adrian Collins from Grimdark magazine is publishing it, great line up of writers, including @Michael R. Fletcher , it looks great.

The Kickstarter campaign seems to be having a big push right now. They've completed all of their original backers goals (passed 800 this morning), and another $2,000 AUD and they get Peter Orullian's contribution. They will add two more unnamed authors if they get another $5,000.00 ($44,500.00). It has not been a long campaign, as it started June 15. Pretty good response for one month.

Yeah, life went crazy! My kids were 7 and 4 when I joined here. Now they are 15 and 12! They do a lot of stuff in between those ages. Plus, there's this pesky thing called work, and I went back to school in my "spare time" to get my Master of Laws. Just finishing that now.

This looks really cool, and they got a catchy title for it!

Well, the anthology has the Peter Orullian story now, and is only $2,079.00 AUD away from its last stretch goal of two as yet unsolicited stories.

There is just an amazing line up of talent for this anthology.
