Would you say the Susan Calvin series by this author are set directly after Asimov's I, Robot?

I think they are 'prequels' to I, Robot, requested (or approved) by the Asimov estate. Not read any of them - have you?

Yes I've read all three. There is a story in I, Robot where Susan Calvin makes an appearance, as a college student. In the Reichert books she is a qualified junior doctor, so in that sense they are set after - but I do know the Susan Calvin scene was only slotted into the story years later, and wondered what others thought?

In the last story of I, Robot, "The Evitable Conflict", Susan Calvin is almost seventy years old.

Actually the new books do not fit into the existing time line. According to I, Robot, Susan Calvin was born in 1982. But Reichert's Calvin was born in 2009.

Well that's just annoying. I wonder why the Asimov estate didn't insist on a proper timeline of events?
I suppose if we ignore the 2009 reference, then the Reichert books fit in the middle of the I, Robot stories somewhere.
