Has anybody else here read the gothic horror 'The Loney' by Andrew Michael Hurley? I'd be really interested to hear what people thought of it. I found it powerful with a nagging sense of unsense and creeping horror - shades of the Wicker Man...
The ending was subtle and ambiguous, and I found myself thinking about the book for several days afterwards - normally a sign a book has made an impact on me!
