To complement the thread on Sir Thomas Malory and other medieval Arthurians (such as Geoffrey of Monmouth, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Wolfram von Eschenbach, Gottfried von Strassburg, the Mabinogion, et al.), here's a place to discuss modern writers of poetry and prose who have retold the Arthurian materials. I don't see this as a thread for discussing original fictions using Arthurian materials, such as Sanders Anne Laubenthal's Excalibur.
