well I watched 'Serenity' a few years ago but I'd never watched 'Firefly' up until this point. Thankfully due to NetFlix that situation is being remedied - loving it

I feel like crying - it's already over I wanted to know more about the characters and what happens next. I guess the spiritual successors are Dark Matter and Killjoys. I also wonder if Battlestar G would've been the same without Firefly...

They may be hard to come by, but Dark Horse has done several comics about Firefly/Serenity. They're not perfect, but they help ease the pain somewhat.

I had pretty much the same reaction. Like you, I saw Serenity first, but watched all of Firefly in a few short days once it made it onto a TV channel I actually get. It was great, and I wished it had gone on.

I guess you saw what happened next in Serenity...by it is such a bummer that there are so few episodes, for what had such great promise to only get better, with so much territory to cover.

I got the Firefly DVD box set and Serenity together last month on Father's day.
Haven't made time yet to sit and chillax watching them. Loved the series the first time I watched it

Firefly created a rich universe filled with possibilities. I recommend writing/roleplaying in it, and thus, it will live forever.

Besides -- if Serenity is any indication, Joss would have ruined it before it was over, anyway...
