Hi all
I'm about to see the second in my SF trilogy hit the shelves (well in the next month anyway) and I'm trying to figure out how I do better on getting reviews. Not simply goodreads or Amazon - which seemed to do really well. Of the couple of thousand units that shifted more than 60 unique reviews came through across various channels.
What I'm really keen on is trying to figure out what sites and blogs are worth approaching (and are willing to be approached).
I'm going to experiment with bookfunnel and instafreebie (by which I'm at least going to look at the services they offer but not necessarily commit to anything).
As it's book two, I'm more than prepared to bundle up the first book as part of a package to ensure that people aren't put off by coming into a series part way through. However, I'd really value people's thoughts.
