Yaphet Kotto as the captain

Kottot was considered for the role of the captain. how do u think he would of done in said role??

A small step from Lieutenant Giardello to Captain, and he was great as the former.

Huh. Come to think of it, he even played an Italian as G and it's a small step to France. So there's that, too.

I can see it.

There could have been some good scenes with him arming himself against aliens with a fork.
