Just wondering what peeps thought of Hack/Slash.
For those who haven't heard of it. Wikipedia will explain better than I can. Hack/Slash - Wikipedia
Personally; I like the premise of Hack/Slash. Mainly because I don't like slasher movies. The idea of a classic 'horror movie victim', (type 4 - the cute goth girl), refusing to lie down and die and instead actively hunting down supernatural maniacs in order to beat them to death with a baseball bat really appeals to me.
And I like Cassie Hack as a character. She's strong willed and kick-ass but also vulnerable, conflicted and lonely, a good character in many ways.
On the other hand the series in general and Cassie's depiction in particular has a fetishistic fan-servicey aesthetic which irritates me a bit.
So anyway, has anyone else on SFF Chronicles read it? Thoughts?
