It has been killing me to keep this quiet! This is the cover of my new book, due in July.

The blurb:

Waters And The Wild, by Jo Zebedee

"Amy was five when she vanished during a family trip, only to be found hours later, clutching a golden acorn and claiming to have visited fairies. Now she’s eighteen, and the fairies are calling her back.

While attending a wedding deep in the Antrim glens, the voices grow darker and their song takes hold. Not sure if she's mad or if the fairies are real, she flees, drawing well-meaning Simon into her fairy-fuelled road trip.

Thank you! I think, if you know the origin of the title, there is a hint in it about some of the themes. :)

It was done by Inspired Quill's cover designer, Venetia Jackson. I thought she nailed the book really well.

Jo, That's really a wonderful cover, and a story tease that should be very enticing to any Fantasy Reader.
 
That is as cool a menacing Faery cover as I have ever seen. If it was on the newstand one might think it was a giant... bug, or scary insectoid ET, and I would be intrigued enough by that to pick it up. Might be disappointing to find out it was Fairies instead of fierce flying ETs, but by then I'd have forked over the fee, which is probably what? 19.95$, and no doubt it's your best yet?
