An old friend returns and a hero falls as things heat up within the Framework on Agents Of SHIELD...

Mace's death saddened me even though he was not a particular favourite of mine. May the best girl ever. May MVP. I loved Tripp's return.
 
Yeah, they did a good job improving Mace's likeability over the series. I also think the show's nailing the alternative/dark universe theme, which often can be screwed up. The returning characters, internal conflict, etc is all working really well.
