Mark Robson
Dragon Writer
I must admit to having drifted away from spending time on the internet over the past few years. This has been for a variety of reasons, but mainly to allow me to give more time doing things in the physical world. My writing has slowed, but not stopped. I have now completed the Devil's Triangle Trilogy and the last book is available on Kindle for those fans who wanted to see how the story finished. I'm currently engaged in 2 writing projects: Warrior Kids - a series of six shorter books for younger children, which are martial arts stories with a fantasy twist, and The Griffin's Ring (working title) a totally new project, which I began with my daughter some time ago, but appear to now be doing the majority of the writing myself.
For the last 5 years, I have been teaching tae kwon-do to children in my local leisure centre. This has gradually eaten more and more of my time as the little club I started has grown out of all recognition. I am now a 3rd degree black belt myself and have around 100 students aged 4 - 11, who dominate my thoughts and my time. As anyone who works with children will know, the accompanying paperwork is never-ending! But the personal satisfaction I get from seeing them progress and learn is immense. It's good to see these forums still alive and kicking and I have been skimming through over the past couple of days to see just how much has changed. Everything is so familiar and yet different. It's good to see that some of the stalwarts are still here - my best wishes to those who have chatted with me in the past.
