John Ringo. Urban myth

I've lost the link to it for the moment but again today I stumbled across the same rumour about John Ringo online (three times now on different sites)
It is alleged that his full registered name is actually John George Paul Ringo but from an early age he has denied this.
Does anyone know if there is any truth in this, or is it just a daft rumour?
